Anthurium 'Joli Pink', also known as the Pink Flamingo Lily, is an elegant flowering houseplant with glossy, heart-shaped green leaves and striking soft pink blooms. Its long-lasting flowers and compact, upright habit make it a beautiful choice for coffee tables, shelves and bright living spaces.
Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, Anthuriums naturally grow beneath the forest canopy, where they enjoy warmth, bright indirect light and high humidity. The colourful 'flowers' are actually modified leaves called spathes, surrounding the tiny true flowers on the central spike. Each bloom can last for up to six weeks, with healthy plants producing flowers throughout much of the year.
Place your Anthurium in bright, indirect light and water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, and keep away from cold draughts. Enjoys higher humidity but adapts well to most homes. Feed every month during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertiliser.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. Too much direct sunlight can result in scorched leaves.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the top half of the compost to dry before rewatering. Over-watering will cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
