Native to Mexico, Anthurium clarinervium is a highly sought-after species, prized for its thick, velvety, heart-shaped leaves marked with striking, bright white veins. Architectural and sculptural, it’s a true statement plant for collectors.
In its natural habitat, this Anthurium grows in warm, humid environments, often clinging to rocks or trees as an epiphyte. It thrives indoors with bright, indirect light and good humidity.
Unlike the more common flowering Anthuriums, clarinervium is grown purely for its foliage. Each new leaf emerges with bold definition, gradually deepening in colour and texture as it matures.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. Too much direct sunlight can result in scorched leaves.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the top half of the compost to dry before rewatering. Over-watering will cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
