Anthurium make wonderful houseplants. This stunning variety has superb heart-shaped leaves and gorgeous flowers which are very long-lasting.
Anthuriums are native to the Caribbean and South America. They can be epiphytic and are often found growing on trees in highly humid environments.
The Anthurium genus is renowned for its most commonly seen varieties with colourful, long-lasting blooms which are actually called 'spathes'. The colourful spathes can last as long as 6 weeks before dying back. However, rarer forms of Anthurium are sought-after for their impressive leaves rather than their spathes.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. Too much direct sunlight can result in scorched leaves.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the top half of the compost to dry before rewatering. Over-watering will cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
