Aglaonema 'Stripes' is a striking variety of Chinese Evergreen, loved for its bold, striped foliage in shades of green and silvery-grey. Native to the tropical rainforests of South East Asia, Aglaonema make excellent houseplants and are particularly well suited to areas with slightly lower light levels.
Part of the Araceae family, Aglaonema are commonly known as Chinese Evergreens. They are easy-care tropical perennials, prized for their beautifully patterned leaves and tolerant nature. Aglaonema 'Stripes' will do best in bright, indirect light, although it can also cope well with a slightly shadier position.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
