Aglaonema pictum ‘Tricolour’ is a rare and highly sought-after Chinese Evergreen, prized for its distinctive camouflage-style foliage. Each leaf has a soft, velvety texture and features striking variegation in three rich shades of green, making this an exceptional and unusual houseplant.
Native to the tropical rainforests of South East Asia, Aglaonema plants grow naturally in warm, humid, shaded environments. In recent years they have been rediscovered as stylish, low-maintenance houseplants that suit modern interiors beautifully.
Aglaonema belong to the Araceae family and are commonly known as Chinese Evergreens. This tropical perennial is renowned for its easy-care nature and decorative leaves. Varieties with bold or patterned foliage, such as ‘Tricolour’, prefer bright, indirect light, while darker-leaved types tolerate shadier positions in the home.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
