Delicate black stalked triangular fronds give the Maidenhair Fern a soft, elegant appearance. This superb plant can produce stems up to 50cm long.
Maidenhair Ferns are native to tropical South America and can be found growing in the cracks between rocks - often near waterfalls.
In their natural habitat, Adiantum are in constant contact with humidity and moisture and therefore they do particularly well in terrariums and bathrooms with bright light.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate a touch of direct sunlight in the morning or evening.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top couple of centimetres of compost to dry before re-watering. You will not need to water as often in winter.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant loves humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. It can also be planted in to a terrarium.
