The Maidenhair Fern (Adiantum) is known for its delicate, black-stalked fronds and soft triangular foliage that creates a beautiful, airy texture in any room. This larger 17cm nursery pot can produce graceful arching stems up to 50cm long, making it a standout indoor plant for bright bathrooms, kitchens or living spaces.
Native to tropical regions of South America, Maidenhair Ferns naturally grow in the crevices of rocks near waterfalls where the air is constantly rich in moisture. Because of this humid environment, they thrive in homes with higher humidity and are especially well suited to terrariums or bathrooms with bright, indirect light.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate a touch of direct sunlight in the morning or evening.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top couple of centimetres of compost to dry before re-watering. You will not need to water as often in winter.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant loves humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. It can also be planted in to a terrarium.
