Adiantum raddianum, commonly known as the Maidenhair Fern, is a delicate, elegant houseplant with fine, triangular fronds held on distinctive dark stems. Its soft, airy texture brings a light, graceful feel to shelves, bathrooms or shaded corners.
This is a plant that thrives in humidity, making it particularly well suited to bathrooms, kitchens or terrariums. When happy, it produces fresh, bright green growth that gently fills out into a soft, cloud-like shape.
Care & positioning
Place in bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sun. Keep the compost consistently moist – never allow it to dry out completely. Prefers higher humidity and will benefit from a steamy environment.
Good to know
Can be sensitive to dry air and irregular watering. Trim back any dry or tired fronds to encourage fresh growth.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate a touch of direct sunlight in the morning or evening.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top couple of centimetres of compost to dry before re-watering. You will not need to water as often in winter.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant loves humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. It can also be planted in to a terrarium.
