Sedum makinoi ‘Tornado’, also known as Japanese Stonecrop, is a compact, low-growing succulent with tightly packed clusters of glossy, rounded leaves. Its distinctive swirling growth creates a soft, textured appearance, while the foliage can develop beautiful bronze and burgundy tones when grown in brighter sunlight.
This easy-care succulent thrives in bright light and benefits from some direct sun. Its gently trailing habit makes it ideal for sunny windowsills, shelves and mixed succulent displays. During the warmer months, Sedum makinoi 'Tornado' will happily enjoy a sunny patio or balcony. In most parts of the UK, we recommend bringing it indoors before prolonged frosts arrive.
Care:
Water thoroughly, then allow the compost to dry out completely before watering again. Water less during winter and feed once a month during spring and summer.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers bright light and will happily tolerate direct sunshine. During the hottest part of summer, avoid prolonged scorching midday sun behind south-facing glass.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the compost to dry out completely before watering again. Water less during winter, allowing the compost to remain dry for longer.
Food
Feed once a month during spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed during winter.
Humidity
This plant thrives in normal household humidity and does not require misting or additional humidity.
