Chinese Evergreen
🚚 Free UK shipping on orders over £50 🪴
Schefflera arboricola ‘Luseana’, also known as the Dwarf Umbrella Tree, is a neat, compact houseplant with clusters of slender, glossy green leaflets that radiate like tiny umbrellas. This younger plant may be small, but it already has the fresh, architectural character that makes Schefflera such an easy favourite indoors.
‘Luseana’ is a finer-leaved form of Schefflera arboricola, giving it a slightly more delicate and elegant look than broader-leaved umbrella plants. It works beautifully on a shelf, desk or windowsill, bringing a tidy burst of greenery without taking up much space.
Easy to care for and forgiving once settled in, this is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced plant lovers. Place it in bright, indirect light for the best growth, though it will also tolerate moderate light. Water thoroughly, then allow the top layer of compost to dry slightly before watering again. Avoid leaving it sitting in water, especially in lower light.
Over time, Schefflera arboricola ‘Luseana’ will grow into a fuller, bushier plant with a smart upright habit, making it a brilliant one to grow on at home.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
