Discover the exquisite Opuntia polyacantha with its stacked oval pads, adorned in a variety of different sized spines. Be amazed by the vibrant yellow or magenta flowers and (possibly!) savour the renowned and delicious prickly pear fruit that grows proudly on the pad's edges.

They prefer bright light, but don’t let them scorch in the summer! Water from April to September when the soil has dried out slightly and not at all in winter. Feed fortnightly in spring and summer only.
