Niwaki Forked Hand Hoe – a tough Japanese 3-pronged hoe designed for digging, weeding and planting. Brilliant in vegetable beds for preparing soil and making seed furrows, and strong enough for prising out roots, clumps, stones and other stubborn obstacles.
Hand-forged in Japan from durable S55C carbon steel, the forked head is built to tackle compacted soil while retaining its strength and sharpness. The birch handle offers a comfortable grip and excellent control, whether you're working in borders, raised beds or the vegetable garden.

Like many traditional Japanese gardening tools, the carbon steel head will naturally develop a patina and can rust if left wet. Clean and dry after use and occasionally apply Camellia Oil to help protect the steel and keep your tool in excellent condition.
