Maranta leuconeura ‘Fascinator’ — also known as the Prayer Plant — is loved for its vivid oval leaves marked with deep green, red, and pink veining. By day, the leaves lie open to absorb light, and at night they fold together like praying hands, creating a beautiful natural rhythm in your home.
Native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, the Maranta genus thrives in warm, humid environments with dappled light. Its compact, trailing growth makes it perfect for shelves, plant stands, or hanging pots.
Keep the soil lightly moist during the growing season, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Mist regularly to increase humidity and feed fortnightly in spring and summer. Prefers bright, indirect light and should be protected from direct sun.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
