Festuca ‘Intense Blue’ is a hardy, compact ornamental grass prized for its vivid steel-blue foliage. This easy-care variety brings colour and texture to gravel gardens, borders, and outdoor pots, forming neat mounds that look striking year-round. In summer, it produces delicate blue-green flower spikes that add gentle movement and contrast.
Care: Water well when planted in containers, and moderately if grown in beds or borders. Position in full sun to bring out the deepest blue tones. Feed lightly during the summer months to encourage healthy growth. In winter, simply comb through the foliage to remove any dry or dead leaves.
