Epipremnum ‘Marble Queen’ (hangpot)

Epipremnum aureum ‘Marble Queen’, commonly known as Marble Queen Pothos, is a beautifully variegated trailing houseplant with heart-shaped leaves marbled in fresh green, cream and white. Each leaf develops its own individual pattern, giving the plant a bright, softly textured appearance that looks particularly effective cascading from a shelf or hanging planter.

Supplied in a generous 15cm hanging nursery pot with approximately 30cm+ of trailing growth, this is a full, established plant that creates an immediate display. The hanger can easily be removed if you would rather place it in a decorative pot or on a high shelf.

Light & Position

Give Marble Queen Pothos plenty of bright, indirect or filtered light. Good light helps maintain its distinctive cream and white variegation, while plants kept in lower light may gradually produce greener foliage.

Avoid prolonged strong direct sunshine through glass, which can scorch the paler areas of the leaves.

Watering

Allow the upper few centimetres of compost to dry before watering thoroughly, then allow all excess water to drain away. Marble Queen is relatively forgiving and generally prefers to dry slightly between waterings rather than remain permanently wet.

Reduce watering during autumn and winter when growth naturally slows, and never leave the nursery pot sitting in water.

Humidity & Temperature

Marble Queen Pothos adapts well to normal indoor conditions but appreciates moderate humidity and warm, stable temperatures. Keep away from cold draughts and direct heat from radiators.

Regular misting is not essential; good surrounding humidity and airflow are more useful.

Feeding

Feed regularly during spring and summer while the plant is actively growing using a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser. Reduce or stop feeding during autumn and winter.

Trailing or Climbing?

Marble Queen is naturally versatile. Allow the stems to cascade from the hanging pot, a shelf or elevated planter for an easy trailing display, or encourage them to climb a moss pole or other support.

When allowed to climb in good conditions, Epipremnum can develop progressively larger foliage as it matures.
