Cissus 'Ellen Danica'

Cissus rhombifolia ‘Ellen Danica’, commonly known as Grape Ivy or Oak Leaf Ivy, is a lush climbing and trailing houseplant with glossy, deeply lobed green leaves. Its vigorous growth and elegant foliage make it a beautiful choice for shelves, hanging planters or training up a support.

Native to Central and South America, Cissus is a versatile and relatively easy-care houseplant. It can be allowed to trail naturally or encouraged to climb, making it particularly useful for adding height, movement and greenery to an indoor space.

Light & Position

Prefers bright to moderate indirect light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering

Water when the top layer of compost feels dry. Keep the soil lightly moist during the growing season, but avoid allowing the plant to sit in water.

Care

Feed every four to six weeks during spring and summer with a diluted houseplant fertiliser. Long stems can be trimmed to encourage fuller, bushier growth.
