Chlorophytum comosum ‘Bonnie’, also known as the Curly Spider Plant, is a compact, air-purifying houseplant with beautiful arching leaves that twist and curl, giving it a playful shape. A modern take on the classic Spider Plant, ‘Bonnie’ is both stylish and incredibly easy to care for.
Native to tropical southern Africa, this plant thrives in bright, indirect light and adapts well to typical home conditions. Keep the soil lightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter and feed with a diluted houseplant fertiliser every few weeks during spring and summer.
Perfect for shelves, hanging pots, or desks, it’s one of the best pet-friendly, air-purifying plants for any home.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
