Native to South America, this Calathea has distinctive leaves which have a mosaic pattern of cells. It is considered one of the most interesting among the 300 types of Calathea. A clean-air plant.

Prefers medium light levels but will grow faster in brighter conditions. Keep away from strong direct sunlight. Water thoroughly when the top of the soil is dry to touch. Mist frequently and keep away from radiators!
