Asparagus setaceus, often called the Asparagus Fern, is a graceful, fern-like houseplant prized for its soft, feathery foliage and elegant texture. Despite its name, it isn’t a true fern but a member of the Asparagaceae family — the same family as lilies.
Native to the humid forests of South and East Africa, Asparagus setaceus produces fine, arching stems with delicate frond-like leaves that give it a light, airy appearance. It’s perfect for adding soft greenery to shelves, plant stands, or terrariums, and thrives in bright, indirect light with regular watering.
Note: Although beautiful, this plant is not pet-friendly, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.

Care Instructions
Light
Position out of any direct sunight! If in a shadier spot, the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top 3 to 4cm of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water.
