Piper sylvaticum is a climber in the Piperaceae, or pepper, family. Native to the northeast of India. It is very rarely seen and hard to find plant with heart shaped leaves brushed silver and with deep green veins.

It does best with high humidity and warm temperatures. Water when the top two inches of compost have dried. Feed fortnightly from May to September with liquid fertiliser.
