So here are some of our decorative suggestions to make your home look straight out of a Christmas movie!
Festive Plants
Choose decorations that will last longer than the run up to Christmas with some of our favourite festive plants! This year our Plant Gurus have hand-picked a selection of pot grown Nordmann Firs. These Scottish grown trees are approximately 1.2 metres in height and offer the perfect base for hanging all things festive!
Alternatively, choose a tree with a twist like the Pinus pinea ‘Silver Crest’, whose blue needles are sure to stand out from ordinary Christmas Trees. Great for those who live in small spaces, but don’t want to forgo any Christmas cheer.
Better yet, post-Christmas both these trees will quite happily live outside in gardens or balconies.
Christmas Trees are not the only way to bring some festive flair to your home. There are so many fabulous specimens available at this time of year that are favoured for their bright colours during the colder months. These plants include Schlumbergera, Begonia ‘Merry Christmas’, Amaryllis, Cyclamen and Ardisia crenata ‘Queen Star’.
