Crassula ovata ‘Gollum’, commonly known as Trumpet Jade or Gollum Jade, is a wonderfully characterful succulent with thick, tubular green leaves that resemble tiny trumpets. The tips often develop a reddish tint in bright light, adding even more charm to this unusual and sculptural houseplant.
A distinctive variety of the classic Jade Plant, Crassula ‘Gollum’ has a compact, upright habit and slowly develops a woody, tree-like structure as it matures. Its quirky shape makes it perfect for sunny windowsills, desks and smaller spaces where you want something low-maintenance but full of personality.
This easy-care succulent thrives in bright light and copes well with occasional neglect. Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings and avoid letting the plant sit in water. During winter, water much more sparingly.
