Anthurium ‘Pure Purple’ (17cm pot)

Anthurium ‘Pure Purple’ is a dramatic flowering houseplant with glossy, heart-shaped green leaves and rich, deep purple blooms. Its bold colour and sculptural form make it a striking statement plant for modern interiors.

Native to the rainforests of South America and the Caribbean, Anthuriums naturally grow as epiphytes, often found clinging to trees in warm, humid environments. This means they thrive in bright rooms with good humidity, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and well-lit living spaces.

The purple “flowers” are actually modified leaves called spathes which surround the central flower spike. On Anthurium ‘Pure Purple’ these long-lasting spathes can stay in colour for up to six weeks, giving you weeks of vibrant interest with very little effort.
