A wonderful plant with forms huge paddle shaped leaves. Given time this starter size Bird of Paradise will produce the famous orange flowerhead.
Prefers bright light but shield from scorching mid-day sun. Keep above 15C. Keep soil moist in spring and summer and in winter let the top inch of soil dry out between showers. Feed Apr to Oct. Originates from South Africa.
